Ok, I'm new to development, or at least this is my first serious attempt. I'm using Flash Builder 4. I'm a RTL developer (Right-To-Left). I don't like many of the componets in Flash Builder not because they are not nice but because I want parts of them on the other side: e.g. the drop-down arrow of the DropDownList component on the left instead of the right side. How can I do that? Or is there another way?

nice article.

i really like ur sentence about the Flex....

especially "When the framework won’t play nice (private variables or methods), copy and paste the framework source, change private to protected, override the new class. This makes it easier to diff and merge your changes with the changes that come in the next drop of the framework."

very goood ..........

>> Don’t reinvent the wheel, just make it rounder.

Haha, this is the perfect strategy for the RIA development.

Doug McCune made <a href="http://dougmccune.com/blog/2007/08/04/the-making-of-tileui/" rel="nofollow">awesome Papervision3D + APE demo</a>.
